Switch to Shoppex, Get 6 Months of Business Free
If you pay for SellAuth, Komerza, Sell.app or any comparable platform, we will run your shop on our top plan free for six months. The terms, and the measurements behind the confidence.
Every platform in this space claims to be the best one. Sure. The claim costs nothing, so it means nothing. So here's a claim that actually costs us money: if you're paying for a competing platform right now — or paid for one that vanished with everyone's balances — we'll give you six months of Shoppex Business. Free. That's our top plan, normally 99 EUR a month, so 594 EUR we're leaving on the table per merchant.
And no, this isn't a "free trial" with a card on file and a gotcha in month seven. Six months, full plan, and at the end you decide what happens.
We think Shoppex is the best-engineered platform in this market. We also think you'd be a fool to believe that sentence just because we wrote it. Which is why the middle of this post is measurements — storefront speed, API depth, all benchmarked against SellAuth, Komerza and Sell.app with a method you can rerun tonight without asking anyone's permission.
The offer, precisely
- Who qualifies: anyone with an active paid subscription on a comparable commerce platform. Also anyone who paid for one of the platforms that shut down over the last twelve months — if you got burned, this is partly for you. Basically: if you were paying someone else to run your shop, you're in.
- What you get: six months of Business on your Shoppex account. 0% transaction fees, unlimited shops, unlimited products, abandoned cart recovery, the headless checkout SDK, 50,000 email sends a month.
- What we need: proof that you pay or paid. An invoice, a billing screenshot, your live shop on their domain — whatever's easiest. One claim per merchant.
- What happens after: your call. Stay on Business at 99 EUR a month, or drop to Free and keep selling at 2% per sale. Your shop stays online either way. There's no lock-in trick waiting at the end, because lock-in tricks are exactly the thing we're betting against.
- Deadline: claim by September 30, 2026. The six months start when we apply the plan, not when you claim, so claiming early costs you nothing.
How to claim it
No coupon code, no funnel. Three steps:
- Create your Shoppex account — the Free plan is fine to start.
- Send us proof: a ticket in our Discord, or an email to [email protected]. Include the email address of your new account so we know where to put the upgrade.
- That's it. A human looks at it and applies six months of Business, usually the same day.
Measurement one: how fast the storefront loads
Your storefront's load time is your conversion rate — a buyer who stares at a blank screen for seven seconds is a buyer who's gone. So we pointed Lighthouse at hosted storefronts on all four platforms. Same machine, same day, same settings, median of three runs. And we used the demo store this very site links in its hero, not some hand-tuned showcase page.
Lighthouse 13.4.1, simulated mobile (412px, 4G throttling), median of 3 runs per site, measured 2026-08-09 from the same machine. Shoppex: clean-minimal-demo.myshoppex.io (the demo linked on this site). Komerza: demo.mykomerza.com (their official demo). Sell.app: halalware.sell.app (a live hosted shop; no official demo exists). SellAuth storefronts answer Lighthouse with an HTTP 503 bot challenge, so an audit is not possible.
That's the metric Google uses to define "loads fast", and our slowest theme is 2.9× ahead of Komerza's own demo on it. Against a live Sell.app shop it's 5.2×. Our other themes came in at 1.4 and 1.5 seconds. Are we thrilled about the 2.4? Not really — the internal target is under two seconds on every theme, and one theme still misses it. But the gap to the alternatives isn't a gap, it's a canyon.
Don't take our word for it:
npx lighthouse https://clean-minimal-demo.myshoppex.io --preset=perf --viewSwap in any storefront URL you like. If a platform's shop answers your audit with a bot challenge instead of a page — well, that tells you something too. The full benchmark has every metric per site, including a performance bug the benchmark caught in our own setup (we kept that part in, it's a good story). Plus API latency, measured with real accounts.
Measurement two: how deep the developer API goes
If you automate anything — delivery, licensing, a Discord bot, a custom dashboard — the API is the product. So we counted what's actually documented in each platform's public API reference. Not the marketing pages. The reference docs, all read on the same day.
Counted from each platform's public API reference index on 2026-08-09: docs.shoppex.io, docs.sellauth.com, docs.komerza.com, sell.app/docs/api. Sell.app documents some multi-operation pages, so its true operation count is a little higher than its page count.
A raw endpoint count is a blunt tool, admittedly. So here's what actually sits behind our 302: an official SDK on npm (@shoppexio/sdk — none of the three competitors ships one), webhooks you can create, test and retry through the API with timestamped signing and replay protection, idempotency keys on every money path, OAuth2, and keys scoped per resource and action across 28 resources. Oh, and one finding that genuinely surprised us: SellAuth and Sell.app have no public storefront JSON API at all. Zero. Going headless there starts with building your own backend proxy. This is what "designed down to the detail" means once you cash it out into specifics.
Why we'd give away 594 EUR per merchant
Because switching costs are the business model of mediocre platforms. When your product is merely okay, your best strategy is making departure painful: hold the merchant's balance, lock the theme, make exports miserable. Most of this space runs on exactly that, and every merchant who lived through a platform collapse knows it.
We're making the opposite bet. Six months is long enough to move your catalog, point your domain, push real sales volume through, hit a support ticket or two, and check our benchmark numbers against your own experience. If Shoppex isn't clearly better by then — leave. Your themes and customer data are exportable at any time, so leaving actually works here. We only make money on this offer if you stay because you want to stay.
That's the whole flex, really. We're confident enough to pay for your evaluation period ourselves.
There's also the part no benchmark captures: your money never touches us. Payments settle straight into your own Stripe, PayPal, Mollie, Square or any of 20+ providers, and crypto goes to your own wallets. No Shoppex balance. No payout button. This month Billgang, Antistock and Sellpass went dark — third collapse in this space in under three years — and after that, custody architecture isn't a feature comparison line anymore, it's the entire ballgame. If your platform was one of the ones that collapsed: your old billing records count as proof, and we've walked sellers through this exact migration before.
For the line-by-line picture, the compare page puts Shoppex next to SellAuth and Komerza on pricing, fees, payments, security and the developer API. We keep it factual and current, and if you find a line that's wrong, tell us — we'll fix it.
Take the bet
If you believe your current platform is better, ignoring this offer costs you nothing. If the numbers up there planted even a small doubt, six months of our best plan is about the cheapest way to resolve it that will ever exist. The offer ends September 30, 2026.
Create your account, then send proof via Discord or [email protected]. You can be selling again today — the upgrade lands right behind it.
